What’s inside a note
A finished note holds three things.- One-page document: A summary that organizes the whole conversation by key topic. It’s written so that even someone who missed the meeting can catch up by reading this alone. It’s generated automatically when the recording ends.
- Note: Paragraph summaries that build up live during recording. Once enough sentences accumulate, they’re grouped into a paragraph, and after the paragraph splits off, it’s refined to a higher quality.
- Transcript: The full text written down exactly as it was spoken. If you turned on speaker diarization, speaker tags are attached here too.
Editing the content
You can edit the Note and transcript yourself at any time. When you spot a misheard word or name, click that paragraph and fix it on the spot. Your edits carry over to any document you generate afterward.Creating a custom document
When you need a specific format beyond the default summary, like meeting minutes, an interview write-up, or lecture notes, click the [Generate Document] button.- In a note where recording has ended, click the [Generate Document] button.
- Pick one of Tiro’s built-in templates or a template you made yourself, and the conversation is organized into a document in that format.
- If you edited the transcript or want to regenerate it in another language or format, the regenerate button lets you create a fresh version anytime.
